Terms of Service
The rules for making, previewing, unlocking, and sending a song on Personalized Gifts.
Agreement
These terms cover Personalized Gifts, the site where you make a song for one person from details only you know. By creating a song, buying credits, or opening a gift link, you agree to them.
The matching privacy rules are in the Privacy Policy. Credit purchases are also described in the Credits Policy.
The service
You name someone, add a few details, and we draft lyrics you can edit. You then hear the first 30 seconds of the song. That preview does not use credits.
If you want the rest, you unlock the song with credits. Each song comes in two versions, and an unlock covers both: you can download either MP3 and open a private gift page for that song. The gift page shows their name, a short note, and the song, and it opens with a link you choose who to send.
The song is a personal gift. It is not a studio session, and it will not be perfect in the way a song you wrote and recorded yourself would be. You are responsible for listening before you send it.
Your account
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for what happens on your account, including songs you start and credits you spend. If you think someone else is using it, email yuanyuan221119@gmail.com.
What you submit
You keep ownership of the names, notes, and stories you type. You confirm you have the right to use them, and that the song is a gift rather than a way to impersonate someone or to use material you do not have rights to.
You give us permission to use that material only to write the lyrics, generate the audio, store the song, and show the gift page. We do not take ownership of your story.
You are responsible for the lyrics you approve. Read them before you unlock the song. Once a gift link is sent, anyone who has the link can open the page.
Preview, download, and the gift page
The preview is the first 30 seconds. It is there so you can decide if the song is worth finishing. It is not the full song, and it is not a separate product you can keep instead of unlocking.
Confirming Download or Share uses 5 credits and unlocks that song, including both of its versions. After that:
- Downloading either version, or downloading again, does not use more credits.
- Opening or copying the gift link again does not use more credits.
- Using the other of those two actions later does not use more credits.
- Switching which version plays on the gift page does not use more credits.
One unlock belongs to that song. It does not unlock a different song.
The gift link is unlisted, not a password. Do not post it somewhere public if the song should stay private. We can turn a link off if we have to, for example after a deletion request or a clear abuse report.
Credits
Credit packs are a one-time payment. There is no subscription. New accounts do not receive free credits. Credits do not expire.
- $19.99 adds 5 credits (one song).
- $44.99 adds 15 credits (three songs).
Sale prices may apply during promotions. The price shown on the payment page at checkout is the price you pay.
A successful payment adds the credits to your account. It does not unlock a song by itself. The 5 credits are used only when you confirm the download or the share page.
Prices are in US dollars and include what the payment page shows at checkout. If a payment succeeds and the credits are missing, email us with the account email and the date, and we will check the order.
Refunds
Credits that have already been used are not refundable. A credit is used when you confirm a download or a share page. After that, those credits cannot be returned, whether or not you download the file again or open the gift page again.
Unused credits may be refunded within 7 days of the purchase. The 7 days start when the payment succeeds. Only credits that are still unused at the time we review your request are eligible. If you have used part of a pack, we can refund only the unused portion of that purchase, and only inside this window.
You must contact us before any refund is considered. Email yuanyuan221119@gmail.com with the email on your account and the date of the purchase. We check the order and reply with the result.
We do not accept refund requests opened directly with the payment provider, your bank, or your card issuer. A chargeback or a refund request that skips this email will not be treated as a valid refund request. Contact us first, within 7 days, and we will handle an eligible refund from here.
Acceptable use
Use the site to make a personal gift. Do not use it to threaten or harass someone, to pretend the song came from a person who did not make it, or to upload material you have no right to use.
We may refuse a generation, remove a gift page, or close an account that is being used that way.
The song we generate
Lyrics and audio are generated for you from what you submit. They can miss a detail, get a tone slightly wrong, or sound different from what you pictured. The preview is how you check before you spend credits.
We do not promise that a song will be ready at a particular minute, or that the service will be available without interruption. If a generation fails before you unlock the song, you are not charged credits for that attempt.
Age
The site is for adults. If a younger person uses it, a parent or guardian is responsible for that use where the law allows it.
Changes
If we change these terms, the new version will be on this page. Buying credits or unlocking a song after the change means the new version applies to that later use. A purchase you already made keeps the refund rules that were on this page at the time you paid.
